As players try to capture the Worry Monsters, they learn important steps for dealing with persistent worry – identifying feelings, self-calming, making positive self-statements, changing negative thoughts, planning, coping with difficult feelings and self-monitoring. As they play, children will learn important skills to help them worry less. Includes a reproducible assessment form to be completed by parents or teachers.
