Safety Island™ is a unique educational board game specifically designed to teach personal safety to children. Topics covered in the game include: • Water safety • Car safety • Bicycle safety • Strangers • Physical and sexual abuse • Storms • Fire safety • Pedestrian safety • Safety in the home • Drugs (including tobacco) • Internet • Sports • Guns • Others The play of the game has been designed so that the players cooperate and help each other as well as answer questions about safety in order to win points for themselves. Over 3,000 children ages five to fourteen die each year in the U. S. due to accidents. Tens of thousands more are seriously injured. Players learn practical skills and knowledge that will reduce the chances that they or their friends will be accident victims
