Author Description

Carrie is the author and illustrator of Child of Mine. She also illustrated Feelings to Share from A to Z, the Feelings to Share Board Book, Manners are Important for You and Me, and the Manners Are Important Board Book.

Carrie graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design with a BFA in Illustration. Her published illustration work includes children's books, nationally animated commercials, comic books, packaging, greeting cards, advertising, stationary, and murals.

Carrie's illustration work has received a nomination from the Educational Press Association and has been recognized by the Los Angeles Society of Illustrators as well as Portfolio.com. She most recently won the 2006 Best Illustrated Picture Book for the Educational Industry from The Association of Educational Publishers.
